Product roadmap

What we're building next

HospoPilot is built on what chefs tell us, not a product plan drawn up in an office. Here's what's on the bench. If something here would make a real difference to your kitchen, say so — we build the things people ask for first.

Straight with you: this is what we're working on and considering — not a set of promises with dates attached. Anything marked Exploring only gets built if enough of you want it. Nothing here is included in a plan until it ships.

In buildUnder way — the groundwork is already in the product.

Voice notes on incidents

Hold a button and say what happened instead of typing it. It transcribes automatically and fills in the incident form for you to check and submit — the recording stays attached as evidence.

Why it matters: Incidents get written up badly or not at all because nobody wants to type a paragraph mid-service. Talking takes twenty seconds.

Next upCommitted and queued up.

Weekly PDF backup by email

A complete PDF of the week's records emailed to you every Monday, so there is always an off-platform copy in your inbox.

Why it matters: If you ever need to prove something years later, you are not relying on anyone still having an account.

Group reporting across sites

One view across every venue you run — compliance scores side by side, which site is slipping, and one consolidated invoice instead of several.

Why it matters: Running three sites currently means checking three dashboards and reconciling three bills.

Allergen consistency across sites

Flags where the same dish carries different allergen information at different venues, so one kitchen cannot drift from another.

Why it matters: Two sites, same dish, different allergen answer is exactly the gap that ends badly.

ExploringWe like the idea. Demand decides whether it gets built.

Digital probe thermometers

Pair a Bluetooth probe with the app. Take a core temperature and the reading drops straight into the check — no reading a display, no typing, no transcription errors.

Why it matters: Handwritten temperatures are the records EHOs question most. A reading that comes off the probe itself is far harder to dispute.

Automatic fridge and freezer monitoring

Wireless sensors in your fridges and freezers, logging temperatures around the clock. Your AM and PM checks fill themselves in, and you get an alert on your phone when something drifts — including overnight and on days you are closed.

Why it matters: The fridge that fails at 2am is the one that costs you stock and a rating. Nobody is standing there with a probe at 2am.

Clocking in and out

Staff clock on and off from the same kiosk tablet or phone they already use for checks, with hours exportable for payroll.

Why it matters: One fewer app and one fewer paper sheet by the office door.

Modular HACCP plans

Build your plan by process — delivery, storage, prep, cook, hold, serve — instead of one long linear document, so a change to a process updates every dish that uses it.

Why it matters: A linear plan means editing the same control a dozen times whenever anything changes.

Till / EPoS integration

Pull sales through from your till so recipe costing and gross profit reflect what actually sold, without keying anything in.

Why it matters: GP is only as good as the sales data behind it, and typing it in weekly does not happen.

Everything above is on top of what already works today

Temperatures, cleaning, deliveries, allergens, training and EHO mode are live now. Start with those — and help shape the rest.
